• Collation: Paper ; fol. 23 ; catchwords ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals.
• Layout: 13-20 lines per page.
• Description: Text in red and commentary in black ; overlining and other use of red ; some vowel signs ; a number of folios tinted red ; MS in fair condition but several folios are stained with dampness, others are worm-eaten and mended, and folio 1 is partly defective.
• Incipit: بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم رب يسر. قال الشيخ الاستاذ النحوي ابو زيد عبد الرحمن بن علي المکودي

Binding note

Later? type II (with flap) binding in brown leather. Blind- and gold-tooled central design with pendants and decorative edging on covers. Circular design with similar tooling on flap. Leather inside flap and lower pastedown with block-pressed design.
