Marginal and interlinear notes and glosses. Title page has kabīkaj (invocation against bookworms).
Collation: Paper ; fol. (1) + 263 + (3) ; catchwords ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals.
Layout: 19-22 lines per page.
Description: Text in red and commentary in black ; vowel signs ; MS in good condition but first two folios are mended.
Origin: According to colophon copied Monday 20 Jumādá II 1206 (fol. 263b).
Incipit: بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم قال محمد هو بن مالك احمد رب [ربي] الله خير مالك
Colophon: وکان الفراغ من نسخ هذا الکتاب المبارك يوم الاثنين نهار عشرين يوماً من شهر جماد[ى] اخر [الاخر] الذي هو من شهور سنة 1206 من الهجرة النبوية على صاحبها افضل الصلاة والسلام امين. تم
Binding note
Later? type II (with flap) binding in red leather. Blind-stamped mandorla with pendants and corner motifs and blind-tooled decorative edging on covers. Flap has similar decoration. Block-stamped yellow paper pastedowns. In case (239 x 172 mm.) of red leather and marbled paper with leather pull strap.
