Collation: Paper ; fol. 132 ; catchwords ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals.
Description: Rubricated ; some folios are yellow ; watermarks (crown over oblong?) ; MS in good condition.
Layout: 15 lines per page.
Marginal notes. On fol. 1a are 16 verses of poetry by different authors. On the four folios after the ending are ten verses of tashṭīr by ʻAbd al-Raḥmān al-Turkumānī on an original poem by the Shaykh Arslān, 11 verses by ʻAbd al-Ghanī al-Nābulusī 1050-1143 [1641-1731], and several others by Saʻdī al-ʻUmarī, Muḥammad Saʻīd ibn al-Sammān, al-Shaykh al-Rujayḥī, Shihāb al-Dīn Aḥmad ibn Ḥajar al-Shāfiʻī, and Ibn Ḥijjah al-Ḥamawī [1366-1434].

Contemporaneous? type II (with flap) binding in red leather. Blind-stamped mandorla and tooled edging on covers and flap. Yellow paper pastedowns.
