    • Collation: Paper ; fol. (1) + 210 + (1) ; catchwords ; quires signed 1-21 ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals.
    • Description: Rubricated ; verse separators in red ; watermarks (moon inside a shield, roman-alphabet letters "A G" ) ; MS in excellent condition, spine partially detached.
    • Layout: 21 lines per page ; ruled.
    • Marginal notes and glosses in red and black. On the folio before the title page are four verses of poetry, two by Ḥusayn al-Marṣafī, 1308 [1890/1] and the other two by another.
    • Ms. codex.
    • Origin: According to colophon copied Wednesday 5 Jumādá I 1284 by Ḥasanayn ibn Muḥammad ibn Muṣṭafá al-Miṣrī (fol. 210b).

    Contemporaneous? type II (with flap) binding in red leather. Blind-stamped mandorla with pendants. Blind-tooled frame and edging. Blind-stamped motif and blind-tooled edging on flap. Endbands. Pastedowns and flyleaf are blue paper with block-stamped design in black and white.
