    A short treatise arbitrating between Ibn Barrī, who championed the Assemblies of al-Ḥarīrī, and Ibn al-Khashshāb, who criticised them.

    • Collation: Paper ; fol. 32 ; catchwords ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals.
    • Description: Watermarks (includes the roman-alphabet letters V.G.[?]) ; MS in good condition.
    • Layout: 21 lines per page.

    • On title page are three verses of poetry on love. On page after colophon are two verses of wisdom poetry and one on love.
    • Origin: According to colophon copied 8 Shaʻbān 1217 (fol. 32a).

    Contemporaneous? type II (with flap) binding in red leather and embossed orange paper. It appears that it was never sewn. In a case (171 x 123) with a green fabric pull strap.
