A collection of original poems of eulogy, and panegyrics, of various Persian governors under the reign of the Ṣafawid prince, Shāh Ṣafī.
Notes
  • Collation: Paper ; fol. 80 ; catchwords ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals.
  • Description: Rubrications ; verse separators, and sometimes line markings in red ; MS in very good condition, worm-eaten folios at beginning and end.
  • Layout: 25 lines per page with separation between hemistitches ; ruled.
  • Ms. codex.
  • On page after colophon and the folio following are 22 verses by Ibn Maʻtūq, three verses of elegy by ʻAlī Khān lamenting the death of one of his grandsons, and a reply in six verses by the author of the dīwān.
  • Origin: According to colophon copied Wednesday 5 [Dhū] al-Ḥijjah 1246 by Ḥ̣asan ibn Sulaymān ʻAbd Rabbih al-Binhādī (fol. 79a).
