Summary note
A collection of poems in the form of letters to and from the author, arranged according to the alphabetical order of the names of the persons who wrote to the author and to whom the author replied.
Notes
Collation: Paper ; fol. 321 + 1 ; catchwords ; pagination in red ink using Hindi-Arabic numerals ; quires signed 1-32 ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals.
Description: Rubricated ; verse separators in red ; MS is in good condition and very neat ; MS is rare.
Layout: 20-22 lines per page with separation between hemistitches.
Marginal notes and glosses. On the title page are four verses of poetry by a transcriber, Ramaḍān al-ʻAṭīfī. On four folios before the title page is an index of the names in the MS; following is a statement to the effect that MS was written at the request and at the expense of Aḥmad Wihbi [Wahbah], a bookseller in Ḥalab. He also collated the MS himself.

Origin: According to colophon copied Thursday 19 Muḥarram 1305 by Muḥammad ʻAbd [al-ʻAzīz ibn/al-Mardīn] Muḥammad Rāghib (fol. 321a).
