    • Title from title page (fol. 1a).
    • Marginal notes and summaries. Text in red and commentary in black. After colophon is a note that the copy was made for ʻAlī ibn Hibat Allāh Afandī, a former mufti of Tripoli (Syria). The copyist wrongly gives the date of the death of Ibn Ḥajar in 994 [1586].
    • Collation: Paper ; fol. 362 + i ; catchwords ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals.
    • Layout:17-19 lines per page.
    • Description: Entries in red ; MS in good condition ; paper changes after fol. 190 and ink bleeds through the page slightly.
    • Origin: According to colophon copied Shaʻbān 1157 by Rajab ibn Muḥammad al-shahīr bi-al-Bulūkbāshī (fol. 362a).

    Contemporaneous? type II (with flap) binding in dark red leather. Blind stamped with central mandorla and decorative edging. Multi-colored endbands. Leather doublures with block-pressed design in silver.
