The text of, and commentary on, al-Būṣīriʼs famous eulogy of the Prophet, known as al-Burdah.
Notes
Collation: Paper ; fol. i + 139 + i ; catchwords ; quires signed 1-14 ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals.
Description: Text in red and commentary in black ; MS in good condition with some loose folios and partially detached binding.
Layout: 19 lines per page ; ruled.
Marginal notes in different hands.
Ms. codex.
Origin: Undated but probably of the late 18th century.

Binding note
Contemporaneous type III (without flap) binding in brown leather. Blind stamped with central mandorla with pendants and decorative tooled edging.
