    Short work about ʻAbd al-Qādir al-Jīlānī containing selections from his poems.

    • Title from title page (fol. 1a).
    • Immediately after the colophon is a prayer in nine verses of poetry. Six following folios contain an ode by ʻAbd al-Qādir al-Jīlānī; a few verses of wisdom, three of which are by al-Afwah, a noted pre-Islamic poet; a genealogy of the author carried back to Adam; still another genealogy of the authorʼs maternal ancestry; three short poems on Ṣūfī love and three prayers in prose.
    • Collation: Paper ; fol. ii + 14 + iii ; catchwords ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals.
    • Layout: 15 lines per page.
    • Description: Rubricated ; verse separators in red ; some folios lightly tinted ; MS in fair condition; folios 1 and 4 are foxed and mended with gauze with some loss of legibility.
    • Origin: According to colophon copied by Abū al-Fatḥ Muḥammad Ṣadaqah ibn ʻUmar ibn Muḥammad ibn Muḥammad al-ʻĀdilī al-Shāfiʻī al-Qādirī (fol. 9a).
