• Origin: According to colophon copy completed Friday 6 Ramaḍān 765? by ʻUthmān al-Mālikī [Hitti records the date as 765?] (fol. 10a).

Binding note

Later quarter-bound type III (without flap) binding in brown leather and purple spotted paper. Marbled paper pastedows and flyleaves. Gold-tooled lines on spine. French binding.
