  • Physical description: 7 lines per page; written in large naskh on machine-made paper. Fol. 1-108 are dyed a variety of colors and sprinkled with gold. Texts 1-2 written in black, blue, red, and gold and framed in blue, gold, and red, with crude illuminated ʻunwāns and marginal medallions; text 3 in black with rubrication and framed in red and gold. Persian texts written in nastaʻliq. Catchwords. Fol. 1a, 98b, 101b-109a, 125a-130b blank except for rulings. Some staining and bleeding of ink; otherwise in good condition.
Binding note
Burgundy leather with blind-stamped central mandorla and pendants painted black and blind-stamped fillets. The pendants read "ʻAmal-i ʻAbd al-Qādir ṣaḥḥāf." Covers have been mounted onto newer boards. Paper doublures painted with mandorla, pendants and geometric pattern in brown hues.
