• 4 bifolia; first and last leaves laid down to wrappers.
• Illustrations: 8 captioned, half-page wood engravings, hand-colored in varying degrees in blue, green, red, purple, lilac, and buff, variously signed "Ruepprecht, sc," Henneburg, "W Georgy," "VS" and with "IG" monogram.

Binding note

Pub. yellow wrappers, upper printed in pictorial design in red, green, and blue (repeating plate 8, The household of the Godly), signed "VS," beneath title in red within a blue and red-ruled framed border, and lower with publisher's advertisement headed Capital toy-books for children, listing titles in 6 series.
