Photograph album containing 50 albumen prints (8.3 x 11.3 cm. the smaller) of Mount Athos. Included are general views of the monasteries, mostly exterior views; interiors of the monasteries; details of domes; a phiale; an arsanas; Byzantine watch towers; the tower of Kaliagras; many exterior views of the Simōnopetra monastery; the arsanas with its tower below Simōnopetra monastery; exterior vew of the Dionysiou monastery; several skētes; street scenes; a portrait of a monk; and images of the daily monastic life.
