Letters and decrees of Farhād Mīrzā Muʻtamid al-Dawlah, governor of numerous provinces under Nāṣir al-Dīn Shāh (1831-1896), addressed to Mīrzā Riz̤ā ʻAlī Dīvānʹbaygī and to his grandfather. Dates range from 1285 A.H (1868) to 1298 A.H. (1881).

  • Physical description: Written in shikastah script in a variety of hands on white or blue European paper. Each leaf consists of one or more letters pasted to each other and to strips of white or blue paper. About half of the letters bear the stamp: "Muʻtamid al-Dawlah." Fol. 1, 2, 155-162, 175-182 are loose. On fol. 37, 46, letters have been cut out. A loose letter is inserted between fol. 51 and 52. Part of a leaf written in a later hand is inserted between fol. 55 and 56.
