• Physical description: 15 lines per page; written in naskhi script in black on glossy white paper. Catchwords; tajwīd markings in red. First leaf is blank.
• Decoration: Text framed in gold and margins framed in blue; āyahs terminate in gold discs. Floral polychrome and gilt illuminated headers on fol. 2b-3a. Gold bands for sūrah headings, but titles not filled in. Ajzāʾ marked in margins in white set in polychrome and gilt medallions of a variety of designs. Sajdas marked in margins in red.

Binding note

Full brown leather binding with flap; gold-stamped central mandorla flanked vertically by two diamond shapes, corner designs, and fillets. Marbled endpapers.
