• Physical description: 8 lines per page; written in naskhi script in black on beige Arabic laid paper. Catchwords and rubrication; fully vocalized. Each leaf contains an intricately illuminated ʻunwan in a gilt and multi-colored floral design. Text background is brown and framed in red, gold, and blue; verses terminate in gilt discs. Text is on verso of palimpsested Persian manuscript with unidentified text.

Binding note

Modern half leather in red with green cloth and gold tooling. Red marbled endpapers and blank flyleaves. Guard sheets between leaves.
