    • 1. p. 1-22: Thumma intaqala al-fiqh ilá ṭabaqat Abī Bakr al-Khaṣṣāf. A work of unknown authorship offering accounts of a succession of Hanafite legal scholars and authors beginning with Aḥmad ibn ʻUmar al-Khaṣṣāf (d. 873) and ending with Aḥmad ibn Sulaymān Kamāl Pāshā (d. 1533 or 4). Mention is made of the works they authored, with whom they studied, and significant events in their lives. Similar in form to but briefer than al-Fawāʼid al-Bahīyah.
    • 2. p. 23-28: Tarjamat ṣāḥib al-Hidāyah. Biography of the donor(?) of the book to which this essay is appended, i.e.: ʻAlī ibn Abī Bakr al-Marghīnānī. Included are the names of his teachers and pupils, and the works they have written.
