I do hereby certify, that this edition of the Book of common prayer, and administration of the sacraments, &c. ... is permitted to be published, as an edition duly compared and corrected ... William White, Bishop of the Protestant Episcopal Church, in the state of Pennsylvania."--p. [3], 1st count.
Plates engraved by Francis Kearny, David Edwin, Peter Maverick, and Gideon Fairman after Gideon Fairman, Gonzales, and Philippe-Jacques de Loutherbourg.
Two states of gathering [A] noted. In the first, the comma following the word "August" in the certification date on p. [3] is missing; in the second, the comma is present.
Two states of gathering 2L noted. In the first, p. 82 is misnumbered 83; in the second, p. 82 is numbered correctly.
