  • 4 bifolia, printed on one side only, with first and last leaves pasted down to wrappers.
  • Longer words in the text are divided into syllables, as in other early "Aunt Mavor's Picture Book" titles.
  • Text begins: "This is a strange pic-ture! Seven small boys, one upon the back of the o-ther, ... His parents were poor peo-ple, who work-ed in a wood."
