Title supplied by cataloger.
Physical description: 20 lines per page. Written in small naskh in black ink. The text is vocalized. The sūrah headings are written in red ink and separated from the main text by ruled lines in red. The text is framed in a single red line. Each bifol. has an outer border consisting of a single red line. Ḥizb and juzʾ are indicated in red in the margin. Fol. (ii) is a fly-leaf with stamped decor on the recto and waqf statement on the verso.
Decoration: Fol. 1b and 2a have illuminated ʻunwān and borders simply executed in green, grey, black, and red, with gold.
Chiefly quinions; catchword on the verso of each leaf.
Origin: According to colophon, copy completed in 1245 H. (fol. 268a).
Binding note
Brown leather over paper pasteboards with flap. Covers have gold and orange stamped central piece with two pendant on the vertical axis. Pasted guilloche in gold and orange for outer border. Similar guilloche and gold and orange stamp on the envelope flap. Brown and green marbled paper pastedowns and free end paper.
