A poem by Ibn Durayd. This is al-Maqṣūrah, not al-kubrá, as in GAL I, 111 (25/VI) and SI. See Berlin, 7559. Interlinear gloss explaining the words of the poem.

• Physical description: 7 lines per page. Written in medium large naskh in black ink ; the text is partially vocalized. Interlinear gloss written by the same hand in red ink. Soft light cream paper, glossy, hardly translucid. Several verses of poetry and two stylized birds on fol. 1a. Several inscriptions including verses of poetry on fol. 6b.
• Origin: According to colophon, copied for "al-Jināb al-Nāṣirī Muḥammad najal ---? al-ʻālī ... Aḥmad ibn Karāwiyā", Lādhiqīyah, 671 (fol. 6a, the date apparently written in another ink; the copy might be later).
• Incipit: لا تركنن الى الهوى واحذر مفارقة الهواء
• Explicit: وما شكرى لها الا لاني عرفت بها عدوى من صديقي
