Summary note

Commentary on al-Munfarijah, a qaṣīdah by Yūsuf ibn Muḥammad Ibn al-Naḥwī al-Tawzarī (d. 513/1119), dated 953 H. [1546 or 7] (see end of text, fol. 87b). A note on fol. 1a points to the fact that this is an autograph copy. On the author, see GAL, II, 335. Mach identifies this Muḥammad ibn Aḥmad al-Rajīḥī with Muḥammad ibn Muḥammad ibn Aḥmad ibn ... Sibṭ al-Rajīḥī (d. Shawwāl 1002/1594 ; see al-Shaṭṭī. Mukhtaṣar Ṭabaqāt al-Ḥanābilah, p. 91). After the text is a taqrīẓ by Muḥammad ibn ʻAlī al-Juwaynī(?) al-Shāfiʻī (fol. 88b) and another by ʻAlī ibn Ṣadaqah, dated 24 Shawwāl 967 [July 18, 1560] (fol. 89b).
