Aceph. copy of a collection of ḥadīth arranged by topic. The first extant bāb is Bāb fī ʻallāmat al-nifāq min al-ṣiḥāḥ (fol. 3b).

  • Physical description: 21 lines per page. Written in medium small naskh in black ink (faded to brown). Elaborate heading on fol. 103b. Soft dark cream paper, hardly translucid. Fol. 1 is a later added fly-leaf (European paper with watermark) ; fol. 250 is a later added half-folio, with glosses. Extensive marginal glosses in several hands. Two verses of poetry in Persian on fol. 1a. Foliation in black ink using Arabic numerals.

  • Origin: According to colophons, copied by Yūsuf ibn Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad, 9 Dhū al-Qaʻdah 719 [Dec. 22, 1319] (fol. 118a) and 9 Dhū al-Ḥijjah [Jan. 21, 1320] (fol. 249b).
