Summary note
A compendium of legal theory after the Ḥanafī school, completed on 27 Jumādá II 969 [March 1562] (see end of text, fol. 211a in the foliation in Arabic numerals). The text is preceded by short texts and inscriptions on fol. 1a-2a, and a fihrist of the al-Ashbāh wa-al-naẓāʼir al-fiqhīyah ʻalá madhhab al-Ḥanafīyah on fol. 2b-5b. It is followed by a short text by Maḥmūd ibn Qāḍī Simāwnah and other short texts and excerpts by other hands on fol. 217a-218b (in the foliation in Arabic numerals).

Physical description: 24 lines per page. Written in nastaʻlīq in black ink. The text is framed within two lines in red. Thin biscuit paper with regular laid lines and fibers visible. Foliations in Arabic numerals; not re-foliated due to the poor state of conservation of the ms. Worm-eaten; extremely fragile; loss of text.
