• Ms. codex.
• Title from preamble of text (fol. 3b, l. 13-14). The same title appears in the colophon (fol.90b). The name of the author appears at the beginning of the text (fol. 2b).
• Physical description: 19 lines per page. Written in black ink with some use of red. Frame in red and gold outlined in black on fol. 2b-3a. Light cream paper, glossy, with laid lines and a few chain lines visble. Title on tail of text block (hardly legible). Foliation in black ink using Arabic numerals (starts with "34"on fol. 3a).
• Decoration: Illuminated headpiece (ʻunwān) crudely executed in red and gold on fol. 2b.
• Collation: Paper, fol. 90 ; i (later added fly-leaf with inscription; fol. 1 in the modern foliation) 1-8¹⁰ 9¹⁰ (-1 at end of quire) i (later added fly-leaf) ; catchword on the verso of each leaf.
• Inscription in Arabic script on a label pasted on the upper cover: "Qirāʼāt 65". Inscription in Arabic script on a label pasted on pastedown of the upper cover: "Ḥ 261".
• Origin: According to colophon, copied by ʻAbd al-Qādir ibn Maṣlaḥ al-Dīn, Mecca, Ramaḍān 919 [Dec. 1513] (fol. 90b).
• Incipit: بسم ... قال مؤلفه الفقير الى الله تعالى ابو البقاء على بن عثمان بن محمد بن احمد بن القاصح العذرى رحمه الله الحمد لله الذى جعل القرآن لاهله شرفا ونورا وضاعف لهم ببركة تلاوته اجورا ... اما بعد فانى لما فرغت من القرآءة بما تضمنه كتاب العنوان وكتاب الكافى .... تشوقت بقرآءة غيرها من الكتب المبسوطات فقرأت القرآن العظيم بما تضمنه كتاب المستنير
• Explicit: باب التكبير قال صاحب المبهج هذه سنة المكيين ... وخمس آيات من اوّل البقرة الى قوله تع المفلحون هذا آخر كتاب مصطلح الاشارات فى القراآت الستّ الزوايد المروية عن الثقات نفعنا الله ببركتهم فى الدنيا والآخرة امين يا ربّ العالمين
