Collection of poetry by al-Ḥājirī, arranged by genre in seven parts (faṣl) by ʻUmar ibn Muḥammad ibn ʻUmar ibn al-Ḥusayn al-Dimashqī (see preamble, fol. 1b-2a). Apparently lacuna after fol. 26.

  • Physical description: 11 lines per page. Written in medium small naskh in black ink, with larger script for headings. Light cream paper, glossy. Prayer by a later hand on the margin of the colophon (fol. 60a) and on fol. 60b, the latter entitled: "Duʻā al-ṣubḥ". A few loose leaves.
  • Collation: Paper, fol. 60 ; 1¹² (+1 at beginning of quire) 2¹² 3² (only the first bifol. of the quire extant) 4¹² 5⁸ 6¹² (+ 1 at end of quire) ; catchword on the verso of the leaves of the first half of each quire.
  • Inscription in Arabic numerals on a spine labe: "2033".
  • Origin: According to colophon, copy completed in the last night (salkh) of Jumādá al-Ākhirah 684(?) [Sept. 1285] (fol. 60, with mention of the madrasah).
  • Incipit: بسم ... وبه توفيقي قال الامير الكبير العالم ... حسام الدين عيسى بن منجد بن بهرام الاربلي الولد الحاجري النسب وكانت وفاته رحمه الله باربل مجروجا في الثالث من شوال سنة اثنتي وثلثين وستميه مما عني بجمعه وترتيبه ... عمر بن محمد بن عمر بن الحسين الدمشقي ... وهو سبعة فصول ... Binding note
Red-brown leather over paper pasteboards for upper and lower covers and envelope flap. Central scalloped mandorla filled with a floral pattern on covers, with an outer border consisting of fillets. Fore-edge flap appears to be a replacement, with a scalloped circular stamp on its point. Marbled paper pastedowns. Wear; rebacked.
