    Elegant copy of the first part of a collection of Ḥanafī fatwas, comprising the text from the beginning to Kitāb al-Īmān, faṣl 29.

    • Ms. codex.
    • Title supplied by cataloger, statement of responsibility from title apge (fol. 6a).
    • Physical description: 25 lines per page. Written in medium small naskh in black ink with use of red ; yāʾ for alif maqṣūrah. Dark cream paper, glossy, hardly translucid, with a few lines visible. First leaves and last leaf in European paper with watermark. Table of contents on fol. 2b-3b, with title in gold outlined in black. Table of contents on fol. 5b. Several inscriptions in Ottoman Turkish on fol. 5a. Quinions,some numbered using Arabic numerals (see "4" on fol. 36a, 30a in the foliation in Arabic numerals) ; catchword on the verso of each leaf. Foliation in black ink using Arabic numerals (starts with "3" on fol. 9; first leaves repaired).
    • Decoration: Illuminated title page executed in gold, blue and red on fol. 6a. Panel outlined in blue with flecks, with a roundel on the left upper margin. The panel is divided in two uneven parts: the upper cartouche, probably mentioning the title is cut off ; eight lobe mandorla encompassing the name of the author written in blue, and corner pieces for lower panel.
    • Inscription on fol. 1a: "Numrah 56".
    • Origin: Copy completed on Monday 20 Rabīʻ al-Ākhirah 854 [June 1450] (colophon, fol. 219a).
    • Incipit: الحمد لله خالق الارواح والاجسام وجاعل النور والظلام ... قال الشيخ الامام الاجل البارع فقيه الامة ظهير الشريعة محي السنة مقتدي الانام بقية الاسلاف الكرام افتخار الملة والدين ركن الاسلام في العالمين مفتي الشرق والغرب طاهر بن احمد بن عبد الرشيد البخارى رحم الله تربته واعلى فى الجنان رتبته قد عرفتم اخواني ايدكم الله تعالى ان العلوم كثيرة والاعمار قصيرة
    • Explicit: لو قال الاخر لا اكلمك قريبا من سنة لا يكلمه ستة اشهر ويوما ولله الحمد اول واخرا ظاهرا وباطنا سرا وعلانية لا يحصى ثنا عليك انت كما اثنبت على نفسك فلك الحمد اذا رضيت ولك الحمد حتى ترضى وسلم ورضى الله عن اصحاب رسول الله اجمعين
