Summary note
Collection of two treatises: (1) a treatise on iḥtisāb according to the Ḥanafī legal school, in 64 chapters (bāb), by al-Sunāmī (dates uncertain, Brockelmann: after 993/1585 in Bukhārā ; Ziriklī: d. 696/1297 ; M. Izzi Dien: 7th-8th c./13th-14th c.) ; (2) a work on maʻād by Ibn Ḥajar al-ʻAsqalānī (d. 852/1449).

Title supplied by cataloger, from title of Text 1 (preamble of text, fol. 3b) and title of Text 2 (beginning of text, fol. 70b). The title of text 1 also appears with mention of the author in an inscription on fol. 3a, apparently in the same hand as the ownership statement in the name of Nūḥādī Zādah on the left margin. The name of the author of text 2 appears at the beginning of the text (fol. 70b).
Physical description: 27 lines per page. Written in small naskh in black ink with use of red. European paper with watermark. Inscriptions and short excerpts from several texts, including Tabyīn al-maḥārim [by Yūsuf ibn ʻAbd Allāh al-Amāsī, d. 1000/1591 or 2?] and Abū al-Saʻūd Afandī on fol. 1a-b, 3a, 81b. Verses of poetry in Persian on fol. 82b. Table of contents of Niṣāb al-iḥtisāb on fol. 2a-b. Catchword on the verso of each leaf; quinions.
Inscription in Arabic script on a label pasted on the upper cover: "Thālith 14". Inscription in Arabic script on a label pasted on the pastedown of the upper cover: "640/2 Ḥ".
Origin: According to colophon, copy of text 1 completed on 21 Jumādá al-Ūlá 1070 [Feb. 3, 1660] by Muṣtafá ibn Aḥmad (fol. 70a). Text 2 apparently by the same hand.
Copyist: Muṣtafá ibn Aḥmad.
Binding note
Quarter bound in marbled paper and golden brown leather. Yellow paper pastedowns, with inscriptions in Ottoman Turkish.
