Volume 2 of a commentary on the famous Sufi poem about the Prophet Muhammad by Yazıcıoğlu Mehmet (d. 855 AH/1451 AD).

Ms. codex.
Physical description: 17 lines per page. Written in large, handsome, and clear naskhī script in black on white, glazed paper. Keywords, markings, ḥadīths and Qurʾānic verses in red. Text is on f. 2b-209b.
Origin: Copied by al-Ḥajjī Khiḍr ibn Murād during Muḥarram 990 AH (February 1582 AD).
Binding note
Contemporary brown morocco with a flap in traditional Islamic book binding. Rebacked; both covers embossed with central medallion. A little worn with some small tears in the spine.

Ottoman Turkish.
