Title from colophon (fol. 188b).
Physical description: 19 lines per page. Written in thick small round naskh in black ink with use of red. Wove paper. Annotations and short excerpts of texts on the margins and on small pieces of paper pasted between the original leaves of the copy. Fol. 1 is a later added fly-leaf on wove paper with an embossed stamp, with title on the recto. Table of contents on fol. 2b-5a. Short texts and inscriptions on fol. 189a-b.
Inscription in Arabic script on a label pasted on the upper cover: "Taṣawwuf thā". Inscription in Arabic script on a label pasted on the pastedown of the upper cover: "1145/2 Ḥ".
Origin: According to colophon, copy completed in 1259 H. (fol. 188b).
Incipit: الحمد لله الواحد القهار العزيز الغفار مكوّر الليل على النهار تذكرة لاولى القلوب والابصار وتبصرة لذوى الالباب والاعتبار ... اما بعد فقد قال الله تعالى وما خلقت الجن والانس الا ليعبدون ما اريد منهم من رزق وما اريد ان يطعمون وهذا تصريح بانهم خلقوا للعبادة
