Compendium of Ḥanafite law and jurisprudence. The text is followed on fol. 266b by a short question in Ottoman Turkish.

Marginal annotations. Table of contents on fol. 2b and 3b-4b. On fol. 9a is a crossed out text with ḥāshiyah on the margins. Small piece of paper with short text in Arabic and inscriptions in Persian between fol. 262 and 263. Inscription in Roman script in blue pencil on fol. 1a: "B.M. 14".
Layout: 9 lines per page.
Description: Written in medium large rounded script in black ink with use of red. Dark cream European paper with watermark. Fol. 1-8 and 267-270 are later additions on a different type of European paper. Foliation in black ink using Arabic numerals (1-60 on fol. 10a-69a; 1-200 on fol. 70a-265a). Title on head of text block. Stained with water (text hardly legible on some pages).
Origin: According to colophon, copy completed in 1104 H. by Muḥammad Jāmī ibn Bayāzid ibn Muḥammad --- [obliterated] Ūlū Qūshjī, from the wilāyat al-ṣiyād, in the service of ... Shaykh Ẓāhir ... (fol. 266a, with verses of poetry in Persian on the margins).
Incipit (fol. 9b): الحمد لله على جزيل نعمايه واحمده على جليل الايه واشكره على جميل بلايه واشهد ان لا اله الا هو شهادة اعدّها ليوم لقايه وان محمدا عبده ورسوله سيد رسله ... [10أ] ... وبعد فطلب الى من وجب جوابه على ان اجمع له مختصرا على مذهب الامام الاعظم ابي حنيفة رحمة الله ورضاه ... [11ب] ... كتاب الطهارة من اراد الصلوة وهو محدث فليتوضاء
