Title from title page (fol. 2a).
Physical description: 21 lines per page. Written in medium small naskh in black ink with use of red. The text is framed within a single red line. European paper. The headings are repeated in red on the margins (often inverted). catchword on the verso of each leaf. Short inscription on fol. 1a.
Spine label (vertical), with inscription reading: "86" (in Arabic and Western numerals).
Origin: Copied by Ibrāhīm ibn ʻAlī at the end of Rabīʻ al-Awwal 968 [Dec. 1560] (colophon, fol. 44b).
Incipit: الحمد لله الذي خلق الانسان وفضّله على سائر الحيوان بالنطق والبيان والصلوة على رسوله محمد ... وبعد فان بنا حاجة الى تكميل نفوسنا البشرية في قواها النظرية والعلمية اذ كان ذلك هو الوسيلة الى السعادة الابدية ولما كان هذا انما يتم بالعلم بحقائق الاشيآء على ما هي عليه ليعتقد الحق وبفعل الخير وجب علينا ان نعلم العلم المتكفل بتحقيق الحقائق
Explicit: ان ينفعل هو كون الشىء متأثرا عن غيره كالانقطاع وهذه المقولات شاملة لجميع الموجودات الممكنة وليكن هذا آخر الكلام في هذه الرسالة والله اعلم
