Elegant copy of a collection of traditions from Bukhārī and Muslim, along with traditions from the Kitāb al-Shihāb by al-Quḍāʻī (d. 454/1062) and from the Kitāb al-Najm by al-Uqlīshī (d. 550/1155) (GAL).

• Title from preamble (fol. 4b, l.3-4).
• Physical description: 13 lines per page. Written in medium small naskh in black ink, with use of red for re-inking and entries (black in the middle of the vol.). The text is vocalized. Illuminated headpiece (ʻunwān) with basmalah in gold, black, red and blue ink on fol. 1b. Marginal annotations. Cream paper, glossy, with laid and chain lines visible ; fiber visible on the surface. Fol. 239 is a later added fly-leaf on European paper.
• Inscription in Arabic script on a label pasted on the upper cover: "1628 numrah 303".
• Origin: Copy completed on Thursday 25 Dhū al-Qaʻdah 798 [Aug. 30, 1396] by Isḥ[ā]q ibn al-ḥājj Isrāʼil(?) ibn Qutlū Beg ibn ʻAbd Allāh al-Ruhāwī mawladan al-Ḥanafī madhhaban wa-al-Khayrbartī maskanan (colophon, fol. 238b, followed by verses of poetry).
• Incipit: اخبرنا الشيخ الامام الحافظ العلّامة قدوة الامة وعمدة الايمة رضي الدين ابو الفضل الحسن بن محمد بن الحسن الصغاني اعلى الله قدره ورفع في الدارين ذكره قراءة مني عليه وهو يمسك اصله قال الحمد لله محيي الرمم ومجري القلم وذاريء الامم وباريء النسم ...
