Summary note
The collection contains materials concerning various branches and denominations of Cuban Protestant churches. Included are church bulletins, evangelical tracts, children's educational items, serials, monographs, pamphlets and flyers. Denominations and branches such as the Baptists, Lutherans, Methodists, Seventh Day Adventists, Pentecostals, Christian Scientists, the Church of Christ, Episocopals, Evangelicals, Presbyterians, and Jehovah's Witnesses are represented. Certain groups, such as the Southern Baptists, Free Will Baptists and American baptists, as well as individual churches, such as the Iglesia Metodista Central La Trinidad and Iglesia Metodista Universitaria Miguel Soto Asensi, merit their own subdivisions within the collection. The majority of materials were published across Cuba in regions such as Havana (La Habana), Matanzas and Santiago de Cuba. Some materials were published in Europe and the United States and distributed by religious organizations on the island.
