Summary note
A treatise in fiqh, addressing matters of principles of faith, worship and prayer, mostly expressed in the form of fetvas, i.e. questions and answers regarding those matters. This copy ends with a penultimate question (mesele) and is missing the final one present in another copy (see New Series no. 933).

The work is not dated, but the ms has additions which date between 1712 and 1714 -- see ms additions below.
13 lines per page. Written in a medium large naskh, fully vocalised, in black ink with use of red for rubrication. Text is written inside a single line frame in red ink. Catchwords on the verso of each leaf. Glazed European paper. Fol. i (the first page of text) is damaged and has a new sheet of paper with the old folio pasted over. Foliation in Western numerals in pencil. Ms. additions: a prayer (dua) in a later hand on fol. 117b-118a, dated 15th of Dhū al-Ḥijjah 1126 (1714); another short dua in the same hand on fol. 118a; a short inscription in a different hand, dated 1124 (1712); a short fetva, dated 12th of Rabīʻ al-Awwal 1126 (1714).

Quarter leather binding with green and blue marbled paper over pasteboard on covers and red leather on spine. Endleaves in same marbled paper as covers.
