    An adventure story recounting the events and experiences of İzzet's exile in Keşân, told in verse.

    • Title from start of the text on fol. 1b.
    • Copied by Mehmet Recep el-Buharî, and completed in 1251 (1835-36) -- colophon (fol. 120a).
    • 19 lines per page. Written in a small nastaʻlīq in black ink with use of red for rubrication. The text is written in two columns separated with lines in red ink, and inside a text frame outlined in two lines of red ink. On fol. 1b-2a the text frames and the lines inside the frames are in gold ink (faded to silver). Fol. 1b has an illuminated head piece consisting of a large foliage motif in black and white watercolors on a gold leaf background. The head piece ends with a 'plume' like motif in gold leaf on the top, surrounded by a star and a cresent on each side, also in gold leaf. The gold leaf on the motif is embossed. Fol. 2a has a small illuminated heading also done in black and white foilage motif on gold leaf background. Catchwords on the verso of each leaf. Glazed European paper with visible watermarks.

    Binding note
    Brown leather over pasteboard with envelope flap. Gold panel design on covers made with a gold guilloche and four lines in gold ink (not tooled) around the borders, and a central rectangle outlined in three lines of gold ink and filled with a cross pattern of 'sprigs', also in gold ink. Same design on the envelope flap. Simple panel design on the fore edge flap, consisting of two lines in gold ink filled with small circles and short wavy lines. Endleaves and the lining to the envelope flap in yellow paper. Lining to the fore edge flap in brown leather. Both spine and the fore edge flap are repaired with pieces of different, rough dark blue leather.
