Important marginal and interlinear annotations. Notes on pieces of paper placed between the leaves (between fol. 72 and 73, 84 an 85, 132 and 133, 136 and 137). Fol. i and ii are later added flyleaves, with an ownership statement on fol. (ii)a. Two flyleaves of the same paper at the end of the text, blank. Several inscriptions in Ottoman Turkish, including ownership statements on fol. 1a.
Collation: Paper, fol. ii + 270, ii ; ii (later added flyleaves) 1-33⁸ 34⁸ (-2, end of quire) ii (later added flyleaves) ; catchword on the verso of each folio.
Layout: 12 lines per page ; ruled.
Description: Written in medium large script tending towards taʻlīq ; use of red for overlining and re-inking ; vocalized ; reading in black or red ink ; watermarks.
Origin: Copy completed in Jumādá al-Ūlá, Yawm al-Sabt, in 902 H. by Muḥammad ibn Isḥāq (colophon, fol. 270b).
Incipit: الحمد لله وسلام على عباده الذين اصطفى والصلوة التامة الدايمة على رسوله ... قال الشيخ الامام الاجلّ السيّد محىى السنة ناصر الحديث شيخ الاسلام ابو محمد الحسين بن مسعود البغوى الفرآ اما بعد فهذه الفاظ صدرت على صدر النبوة وسنن سارت عن معدن الرسالة
