21 lines per page. Written in careful medium small naskh in black ink with use of red. Red circle text-stops. Illuminated title-page with inscriptions written in white on gold and blue, with some use of red. On the first page of the text (fol. 1b), the text is written within frames of red and blue fillets. Glazed light cream paper with regular laid lines and some chain lines visible. Collation notes and a few marginal annotations. On fol. 170b: Several dates of events added by later hands. Inscription in Arabic script on a label pasted on the pastedown of the upper cover: "Raqm mīm 52". Foliation in black ink using Arabic numerals (starts with "1" on fol. 2a). Foliation in pencil using Western numerals (starts with "1" on fol (ii)a).
Collation: Paper, fol. ii + 170 ; ii (later endleaves, with inscription on fol. (ii)a) + 1¹⁰ (-2, before fol. 1) 2-16¹⁰ 17¹⁰ (+2, fol. 159-160) ; the quires are numbered using Arabic ordinals in the form "al-thānī" (see fol. 9a).
Copy completed on Monday 24 Rabīʻ al-Awwal 770 [Nov. 6, 1368] in Aleppo by Aḥmad ibn ʻAbd Allāh al-Ḥalabī (colophon, fol. 170a).
Patronage: Copied for ʻAbd al-Hādī ibn Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad al-Bisṭāmī, attached to Jāh Muḥammad al-Ṭihāmī (illuminated title-page, fol. 1a).
Incipit: قال الفقيه القاضى الامام الحافظ ابو الفضل عياض بن موسى بن عياض اليحصبى رضى الله عنه الحمد لله المنفرد باسمه الاسما المختض بالملك الاعزّ ... اما بعد اشرف الله قلبى وقلبك بانوار اليقين ولطف لى ولك بما لطف به لاوليآئه المتقين
