  • Title from colophon (fol. 302a). The same title appears on the tail of the text block.
  • 23 lines per page. Written in medium large naskh in black ink with use of red. Biscuit paper with laid lines visible. Marginal annotations. Portion of the inscriptions on the margins cut off due to the trimming of the pages.

Binding note
Brown leather over paper pasteboards for upper and lower covers, fore-edge flap and envelope flap. Both covers have a central medallion consisting of a star motif inscribed in several circles. Outer frame consisting of fillets. Leather doublure.

Long selling statement dated 19 Jumādá al-Ūlá 823 H. [1420], mentioning the names of [---] Ibn ʻAlī ibn ʻUthmān Abū [---], known as Najm al-Tāriqī [Mach reads Ṭārimī] and of al-amīr Naṣr Allāh ibn ... Ḥāmid ibn ... ʻAbd al-Laṭīf ... al-Shakarlabī (fol 2a). Circular seal on fol. 2a. Acquired from Abraham Shalom Yahuda, 1942.
