    Summary note
    Ismail Ankaravî's commentary on Yūsuf ibn Muḥammad Ibn al-Naḥwī's (1041-1119 or 20) al-Qaṣidah al-Munfarijah.
    Notes
    • Ms. codex.
    • Title from fol. 1a.
    • In this copy, the end of the text which should contain the date of the original completion of the work (5th of Ramaḍān 1040 (1631)) has a different date: 21st of Shaʻbān 1058 (1648). The scribe could have replaced the original date with the date of the completion of the copy, but the style, ink and paper all suggest 19th century and this date is most probably an error (perhaps copied from a copy of that date?).
    • 17 lines per page. Written in medium small naskh in black ink with use of red. Text is within a single line frame in red ink. Catchwords on the verso of each leaf. Modern dark cream European paper. Ff. 71-74 are replacements on a yellow colored paper.
    Binding note
Black grained paper over pasteboard on covers. Burgundy leather on spine. Endleaves in blue tissue paper.
