    • 19 lines per page. Written in medium small naskh in black ink. Text is within a gold leaf frame outlined in black ink. Fol. 3b has an illuminated head piece in gold leaf with blue, orange, green and purple watercolors. Catchwords on the verso of each leaf. Glazed European paper. Ff. 49-58 loose.

    Binding note
    Cream and orange mottled paper, with foliage motifs painted in dark green and gold, over pasteboard on covers. Brown leather on spine, cover edges and borders. The borders decorated with a gold guilloche and two gold fillets. Label on upper cover: "Kaside-yi münferice şerhi, Ismail Ankaravî".

    Ownership statement on fol. 3a (as part of the title), in the name of Seyyid Ahmet, son of Seyyid Mehmet the Mufti (fī zamānihi), saying that he bought it from Sünbülzade Salih Efendi, dated 1218 (1803-4), and accompanied with a circular stamp inscribed "Waffaqa Rabb umūr Aḥmad".
