Layout: Ilhām al-muqaddas frame-ruled in red ; Mīzān al-ḥaqq frame-ruled in orange.
Description: Written in small script in black ink with use of red for rubrication. Written area of text 2 slightly larger. Both texts have catchwords on the verso of each leaf. Text 1 is on glazed European paper and text 2 is on a thinner glazed paper with no visible chain or laid lines. Although the texts are not contemporary, they vary only slightly in terms of style and the hands are very similar.
Decoration: Ilhām al-muqaddas has an illuminated headpiece in gold leaf, purple, orange and grey (fol. 2b). Opening spread is frame-rued in gold outlined in black (fol. 2b-3a). Mīzān al-ḥaqq has an illuminated headpiece in gold leaf and orange.
