Collation: Paper ; fol. 128, i ; i (added leaf on European paper, fol. 1 in the modern foliation) 1-12¹⁰ (in the ninth quire, a leaf pasted between two original leaves counted in the modern foliation as fol. 83)13⁶ ; catchwords ; the first two quires are numbered using Arabic ordinals in the form "al-awwal", "al-thānī" in red ink on the right upper margin of the last verso (see fol. 11b and 21b) ; from the third quire on, the quires are numbered using Arabic ordinals in the form "thālith" in black ink on the right upper corner of the first recto of the quire (see fol. 22a) ; foliated in red ink using Hindu-Arabic numerals ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals.
Layout: 13 lines per page.
Description: Text in red, commentary in black ; watermarks.
Paper: Glazed cream paper with laid and chain lines visible.
Origin: Copied for himself (li-nafsih) by Rajab ibn Ḥasan al-Muqrī (Maqarrī?) on 12 Rabīʻ al-Awwal 822 ("nahār al-Ithnayn", colophon, fol. 127a).
Explicit: فجل من لا فيه عيب وعلا والحمد لله علي ما اولي فنعم ما اولي ونعم المولي ثم الصلاه بعد حمد الصمد علي النبي المصطفي محمد واله وصحبه الاخيار الفاشين في دجا الاسحار.
Incipit: قال الشيخ الريس الامام العالم ابو محمد القسم بن علي الحريري البصري رحمه الله اقول من بعد افشاح القول بحمد ذي الطول الشديد الحول ... والي كم ينقسم الحد ما يمنع الشى المحدود من الخروج مما حد به.
