Illuminated ʻunwān on fol. 2b consisting of floral motifs in orange, red, blue, purple, green and white watercolors on a gold leaf background. Text on fol. 2b and 3a within a gold leaf frame outlined in black and red ink. Glazed European paper. Catchwords on the verso of each leaf. Ownership statements on fol. 2a and 3a, first dated 1022 (1613 or 14) and the second Ramaḍān 1133 (1721). Several other short inscriptions, chiefly verses, on front flyleaf and on fol. 2a.

Binding note
Red leather with envelope flap. Gold tooled panel designs on covers, made with triple gold guilloche roll and fillets as border, floral pattern gold tooled obloid with pendants in the center, and small rosetta stamps along the inside of the border design, eight groups of three stamps each. Gold flower roll and fillets on the fore-edge flap. Gold guilloche roll, fillets and rosetta stamps on the envelope flap. Lining to the fore-edge flap in red leather. Lining to the envelope flap and pastedowns in orange paper speckled in silver ink. Flyleaves in light purple paper speckled in silver ink.
