  • Title from title page (fol.1a). The same title appears on a label pasted on the upper cover.
  • The author seems to be the same as Muḥammad ibn ʻAbd al-Bāqī al-Bukhārī ʻAlāʼ al-Dīn Abū al-Maʻālī al-Makkī, the author of Ṭirāz al-manqūsh fī maḥāsin al-Ḥubūsh (GAL, II, 385; SII, 519; Zirikli, VI, 184), listed as Khaṭīb al-Madīnah in Hadiyat al-ʻĀrifīn (2, 256).
  • 19 lines per page. Written in medium small naskh in black ink with use of red. European glazed paper with watermark (Tre lune). Several fāʼidah on fol. 1a and on the margins. Inscription in Arabic on the pastedown of the lower cover. Catchword on the verso of each leaf. Modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals.
