The illustrations show a variety of jointed wooden toys from a Noah's ark set. The front cover design shows a toy sheep, two ducks, a mouse, a pig, and a man wearing a bowler hat arranged in front of the ark. The rear cover design shows two toys giraffes and a toy wolf. The illustrations attributed to D. E. Braham in lot 598 of the sale of Dean's Rag Book Company, Sotheby's London, 14 October 1981. Probably the 1916 edition described in that lot.

Advertisement leaf (12 cm) for Dean's Patent Rag Books B115-216 laid in. Some of the illustrators of individual titles are identified.
