  • Undated, but Ward, Lock & Tyler published under that imprint from 1865-1873 (cf. Brown); Walter Crane's contributions to the first 3 titles in this series is dated 1865 by Spencer and Masaki.

  • Text and ills. both printed on one side only; text, with decorative head- and tail-pieces, printed in red, facing chromoxylographs; first and last leaves, with advertisements printed in black and set in 2 cols., laid down to wrappers.
