• With an additional, engraved titlepage, dated 1721 at foot, conjugate with the facing engraved frontispiece; imprint running across foot of both frontispiece and added title page: "Sold by I. Osborn at ye Oxford Arms in Lumber Street, neat Pop's-head Alley, 1721.
• Illustrations: Engraved frontispiece portrait of George I, and engraved, additonal title page depicting the "Complete English School" building, with title set within the doorway, 2 leaves of model penmanship letters, and 2 leaves of illustrative alphabet items, animals, objects, and Biblical figures.
• Princeton copy 1: Inscribed on blank verso of engraved title page: "Lumley Tanner, July ..." [illegible] and below that, "Lumley."
• Princeton copy 1: Heavily inscribed and marked on both front and rear free endpapers: inscribed on front free endpaper recto: "Lumley Tanner," apparently in 2 different hands, with other partial trial inscriptions (e.g. "Lumle," "Lum," and "Lumley Tann" several times) with several practice flourishes; inked drawing of several boats on rear free endpaper, with several pen trials and writing practice.
• Princeton copy 1: Inked drawing of a ship-of-the-line on lower leather board, including a figurehead on the bow, gun-ports, and flags.
• Princeton copy 2: Inscribed (vertically) on front pastedown: "John Holland, his book, 1732," along with other, illegible writing, and also inscribed on rear pastedown: "John Holland, his book, 1732" and also "Jas. Holland's book, 1745" with inked notes on amounts of money paid at the head of page.
• Princeton copy 1: Upper corners of title page and following page town off, with some loss of text.
• Princeton copy 2: Lacking the two engraved leaves and two unnumbered pages at beginning.
