  • Each v. has 22 hand-rendered text and ill. leaves (inc. frontis. ill. and colophon) and measures 22 x 15 mm; vols. are chained to a wooden miniature library measuring 55 x 13 x 13 mm., which rises from a cylindrical morocco tube measuring 104 x 70 mm. when closed.
  • Cotsen copy: Lacks metal tweezers found in several other sets by Powell, now in the Morgan Library, intended for removing books from the shelf.

Binding note
Individual vols. bound by Roger Powell in full morocco of various colors, gilt-tooled on covers; wooden desk with gilt-ruled, green morocco surface; entire miniature library itself is encased in a gilt-tooled green and blue full morocco tube, stamped with marks of Powell and Waters on bottom edge of case.
